Guangdong By-Health Biotechnology (广东汤臣倍健生物科技股份有限公司) is one of China's largest suppliers of vitamins and health supplements. Established in October 1995, By-Health introduced dietary supplements into the Chinese indirect selling market systematically in 2002, and soon grew into a leading brand and industry icon. Yao Ming, a former NBA superstar, signed on to become By-Health's media spokesperson in August 2010. On Dec 15 the same year, the company was publicly listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

For more than a decade, By-Health has insisted on maintaining a high standard of quality for its products. To meet this goal, the company utilizes its 200 detection tools to carry out its strict inspection standards, which are more rigorous than national ones. The company's transparent factory which came into operation in Zhuhai's Jinwan district in 2012 is a first of its kind domestically advanced production bases for dietary supplements designed with strict quality controls. The transparent factory is open to the public, with its 3rd to 5th workshops being encased in transparent glass. This gives transparency to the raw ingredients and the production process they go through. So far, more than 260,000 consumers and stakeholders have taken a tour of the various production processes at the facility, such as that of raw-material extraction.

The company was the first food-and-drug industry firm in Zhuhai to receive the Zhuhai Mayor Quality Award in 2017.

Liang Yunchao, 49, chairman of By-Health appeared on the Hurun Global Rich List for 2018. With his family's net worth growing by 50 percent to 13.5 billion yuan ($2.1 billion), leaping 237 places to 1,383th.
