Flower market opens to public in Huadu district

The Huadu Flower Fair, one of the most famous flower markets in Guangzhou, welcomed the coming of spring on Feb 6 with over 1,000 types of flowers up for sale.

Open from Feb 6 to 16, Huadu's flower market is the longest-running of its kind in this year in Guangzhou.

Flower lovers can buy potted flowers, bonsais, and floral works as well as fresh flowers such as lilies, China pinks and butterfly orchids. Moreover, some new rare breeds of "Jinyu mantang" (a plant known as coral bush or Christmas berry) and butterfly orchid are also available at the fair.
