​New leadership elected in Fujian as six-day congress session ends

The opening session of 13th Fujian Provincial People's Congress wrapped up in Fuzhou on Wednesday, with its new leadership elected.

Yu Weiguo was elected chairman of the 13th Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial People's Congress at the session.

Zhang Guangmin, Huang Qiyu, Deng Liping, Peng Zheng, Wu Hongqin and Tan Yunkun were chosen as vice chairmen of the committee.

Meanwhile, Tang Dengjie, was elected governor of the Fujian Provincial People's Government while Zhang Zhinan, Yang Xianjin, Li Dejin, Tian Xiangli, Sui Jun, Zheng Xincong and Zheng Jianmin were elected vice governors.

Liu Xuexin was elected chairman of Fujian Provincial Procuratorial Committee while Hu Xielin was elected president of Fujian Provincial Higher People's Court.
