Sun Zhe

Sun Zhe,mayor of Harbin Municipal Government

Sun Zhe, born in October 1963, is a male of Han ethnicity from Longkou, Shandong province. He entered the workforce in August 1985 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in March 1984. He graduated from Harbin University of Civil Engineering and Architecture with a degree in water supply and drainage. Sun holds a doctorate in engineering and is a professor of Harbin University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

He is currently mayor of Harbin Municipal People's Government, responsible for presiding over the work of the municipal government.

August 1985 – February 1996  Teacher and Party secretary of the environmental engineering teaching and research office in the department of municipal environmental engineering at Harbin University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (September 1988 - January 1991 Received an in-service postgraduate education in the department of municipal environmental engineering at Harbin University of Civil Engineering and Architecture and obtained a master’s degree in engineering)
