Seek cooperation with institutions in UK and France

In order to promote the popularity of Xiamen and the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in the UK and France, a promotional team of three people from the city's convention and exhibition agency recently visited the two countries.

The promotional team visited the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, Paris Tourist Office in France as well as China British Business Association, Reed Exhibitions, the world's leading events organiser in the UK to introduce the development of MICE industry (meeting, incentive, convention and exhibition) in Xiamen and the city's advantages in hosting exhibitions and conferences.

After the exchanges with the promotional team, the chief operating officer of GAEI said that they are delighted to attend the 2018 CIFIT and also intend to organize activities in Xiamen, such as Global CEO Conference and Asia Pacific Summit.

The promotional team decided to pay more attention to the statistics released by the association, and participate in the annual conference held in Russia this year to promote Xiamen's MICE industry.

As a firm partner of CIFIT, director of China UK Trade Association said that they will continue to organize British enterprises to attend the 2018 CIFIT to seek more business cooperation with Chinese enterprises.

Representative from Reed Exhibitions confirmed that he plans to visit China this year and is willing to hold a meeting with representatives from the coastal city's MICE industry to share his experience in international marketing and the industry's latest trend.
