Zhanjiang business environment among China's top 100

Zhanjiang was the sole Western Guangdong city listed in the Dataway Urban Big Data Institute's Top 100 Chinese Prefecture-level Cities by Business Environment rankings.

Dataway is a domestically renowned think tank that focuses on providing solutions and consulting services for government by utilizing its big data platforms and resources.

It had conducted a thorough analysis on the business environment of Chinese cities to compile the list. Urban functions, commercial vitality, governmental services, quality of life and humanistic environment were the five aspects considered during the ranking phase.

The prefecture-level cities in the top 10 were Suzhou, Dongguan, Wuxi, Foshan, Wenzhou, Changzhou, Xuzhou, Quanzhou, Jiaxing and Nantong, with Zhanjiang at 8th in Guangdong and 67th place nationally.
