Xiamen adds new science park

The investment demonstration center of Unisplendour Science Park in Xiamen, Fujian province is now in service, marked by an opening ceremony held on Jan 1.

The ceremony attracted representatives from the coastal city's leading hi-tech enterprises and academic people from Tsinghua Straits Research Institute and Xiamen alumni association of Tsinghua University.

The demonstration center engages in constructing a green and smart working environment with elaborate industrial spaces, intelligent supporting facilities and delightful landscapes to maximize entered enterprises' production capacities.

With a floor area of 190,000 square meters and covered area of 400,000 square meters, the science park is expected to be built into a gathering place for hi-tech industry integrating research, industry incubation and product display.

The park also gathers the capital, technology and talents from Unisplendour Corporation and helps the Tsinghua Straits Research Institute construct a complete service platform for scientific and technological innovations.

At present, a subsidiary company of the Unisplendour Corporation has decided to enter the park, while four other local hi-tech enterprises also intend to enter the park.

The Unisplendour Science Park, founded by the Unisplendour Corporation, consists of three areas, one of which is expected to finish the acceptance inspection in August of this year, and the other two are still under construction.

The Unisplendour Corporation, affiliated to Tsinghua University, is a supplier of whole industry chain service, including developing, constructing, operating and maintaining the modern information system, while also being the third major mobile phone chip supplier in the world.
