High-speed railway to connect Guangzhou and Chongqing

The Chongqing-Guiyang High-Speed Railway will begin operation on Jan 25. It will take only 7 hours to travel between Guangzhou and Chongqing, 5 hours less than before.

Train tickets for the new route became available for booking earlier today. The Chongqing-Guiyang High-Speed Railway will benefit millions of passengers in Southwest China during the upcoming Spring Festival.

Over time, the transfer of goods and people between Southwest China, Northwest China, and the Pearl River Delta will be greatly improved, providing a boost to the regional economies.
