A special exhibition "Going into 'Stamp Kingdom' Liechtenstein" was unveiled at the Yangzhou Museum on Jan 18 in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, as a friendly greeting from the Central European country.

The exhibition was jointly organized by the Yangzhou Museum, the Liechtenstein National Museum and the Liechtenstein Post AG to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Liechtenstein.

A set of 40 valuable stamps is exhibited displaying different aspects of Liechtenstein such as the country's landscape, postal history and cultural ties with China.

A special set of stamps co-designed by the Liechtenstein Post AG and the Yangzhou Museum is also exhibited, featuring Yangzhou elements such as Yangzhou Museum's chief attraction – the Chinese Yuan dynasty blue white dragon plum ceramic vase and the city's bronze lion statue sent by Italy's Veneto.

"The exhibition displays Liechtenstein's culture and beautiful landscapes. We hope that it will promote the mutual understanding and friendship between China and Liechtenstein," said Cynthia Li, chief representative of Liechtenstein Post AG in China.
