Ordos receives new national-level park

The Dashatou National Desert Park project in Otog Front Banner, Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, was recently approved by the national forestry authority.

According to a local media organization, approval of the project confirms the national-level park as the first in Otog Front Banner.

Sitting at the junction of Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi province and Ningxia Hui autonomous region, the park is planned to occupy more than 325 hectares and will combine tourism and the popularization of sciences.
