Baotou companies share grant worth 6.7m yuan

Three Baotou-based companies won a development grant of 6.7 million yuan ($1 million), according to a Jan 10 Baotou Daily report.
The three companies –– Baotou Dongbao Bio-tech Co, Inner Mongolia North Hauler Joint Stock Co and Baotou Changan Permanent Magnet Motor R&D Co –– are all located in Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone and will share the money.
A total of eight tech-based companies in the development district applied for the development fund with projects covering areas including industrial and technological innovation, and the integration of manufacturing and internet technologies.
