Wuxi mayor Wang Quan attended the deliberation of Yixing delegation on the work report of the municipal government on Jan 7.

Representatives extended full affirmation of the work report made by mayor Wang Quan and they also gave their own suggestions on financial stability, scientific and technological innovation, and reform and development of modern enterprises, and so on.

Wang Quan said all the suggestions were warmly welcomed and they will be taken into consideration during his future work.

He was positive about what Yixing has done over the past year.

Yixing, as a county-level city of Wuxi, plays an important role in Wuxi's overall development, and all the local agencies have promoted the development of local economy and society.

He confirmed that the great achievements Yixing has made in strengthening the city by developing key industries, the construction of ecological protection leading areas and a national civilized city all lay great foundations for high quality development.

Mayor Wang Quan also offered advice for Yixing's development

Yixing government should continue to invite more investment, promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and advance the development of energy conservation and environmental protection industries.

The local government should also pay more attention on financial risks, poverty alleviation, and prevention and control of pollution.

In the end, Wang said that the appropriate agencies in Wuxi municipal government would spare no effort to support Yixing's development.
