Uxin Banner gets new scenic site

Baoyuan Ecological Tourism Area in Uxin Banner, Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, was recently designated a 3A-level scenic site, according to an announcement by the region’s tourism authority.

As of now, the number of A-level scenic sites in Uxin Banner totals five, two of which are 4A level and the rest of which are 3A level.

Located in Wushenzhao town, the newly added scenic site covers an area of 200,000 mus (13,333 hectares). Since the initiation of the project, a total of 400 million yuan ($61.54 million) has been invested on ecological restoration in the area.

The hotel at the scenic site can accommodate more than 800 guests and a large swimming pool is available to use.

Relying on local natural resources and cultural heritage, the scenic site aims to be an ecological tourism area integrating food, sports and entertainment.
