Music performed from animations of Japanese director

A concert featuring music from the animations of Miyazaki Hayao was staged in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Dec 17, reports Baotou Daily.

Miyazaki Hayao is a Japanese film director, who achieved international fame through his animation films. He co-founded Studio Ghibli, a film and animation studio, with Isao Takahata and Toshio Suzuki in 1985. Many animation films produced by the studio are world-famous, including Tonari no Totoro, Laputa: Castle in the Sky and Kiki's Delivery Service.
