From 2017 to 2020, the Agricultural Bank of China (Dalian branch) (ABC) will offer 20 billion yuan ($3.04 billion) to Lushunkou as financial support.

Lushunkou is a district situated on the southern tip of Liaodong peninsula in Dalian city, Liaoning province.

The district government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the bank on Dec 19.

The fund will be applied to three rural issues (agriculture, rural areas and farmers), infrastructure construction, new-type urbanization, entity economy development, State-owned enterprises reform and social security.

The secretary of Lushunkou District Party Committee Yi Qingtao gave a brief introduction to the ABC delegation.

He said that Lushunkoukou was approved by the State for further development in 2009. And later it was given approval by the provincial government to be incorporated into the key development area of Liaoning Coastal Economic Belt, and positioned as a green economic zone, allowing it to enjoy more preferential policies, better and faster development, and a platform for constructing a green industrial system.

Yi hopes the two sides will strengthen cooperation to further promote the development of Lushunkou.

Li Jun, governor of Lushunkou district, hopes that Luchunkou’s financial industry will advance to a new level through joint efforts by the two sides.

Head of ABC Dalian Branch Shi Shenglin said that Lushunkou has good ecological environment, regional advantages, brilliant history and culture and rich resources; consequently the bank plans to provide financial support to help the district’s development model increase in quality.
