China Southern Airlines Co Ltd (中国南方航空), a proud member of SkyTeam,  is directly affiliated with China Southern Air Holding Company, specializing in air transportation services. With headquarters based in Guangzhou, China Southern Airlines' company logo can be seen around the globe – featuring a red kapok adorning its aircrafts' blue vertical tail fin.

China Southern Airlines operates the largest fleet, most developed route network and largest passenger capacity of any airline in China.

Currently, China Southern Airlines operates 700 passenger and cargo transport aircrafts, including Boeing 787，777,747, 757& 737 and Airbus A380, A330, A321,A 320, A319. The airline fleet is ranked the first in Asia and the fourth in the world (Data: IATA, in terms of fleet size). China Southern Airlines is the first airline in the world to operate both A380 and 787.

China Southern Airlines has formed an extensive network with Guangzhou, Beijing, Urumqi and Chongqing as its hubs, covering all of China, radiating throughout Asia and linking Europe, America, Oceania & Africa, building an international network-oriented airline.

China Southern operates more than 2,000 daily flights to 208 destinations in 40 countries and regions across the world. Through close cooperation with its SkyTeam member airlines, China Southern's network spans 1,062 destinations to 177 countries and regions.

In these years, China Southern Airlines has built up the Canton Route, making Guangzhou  an international air hub. Now Guangzhou is becoming the first gateway between China mainland and Australasia, South Asia.

China Southern transported 109 million passengers in 2015, ranking the carrier first in Asia and the fourth in the world (Data: IATA), topping all Chinese airlines for 37 years.

By June 30, 2016, China Southern Airlines have kept a safe record of 16.87 million flight hours and carried close to 900 million passengers without incident. The airline's safety commitment is - and continues to be - unwavering both throughout China and globally. On September 28, 2012, China Southern Airlines was honored with the Diamond Flight Safety Award by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), becoming the leading Chinese carrier to maintain the highest safety records in China.
