Harbin company improves trash disposal technology

Garbage incineration and power generating technology invented by Harbin Boiler Company has recently received approval from the National Energy Administration.

Delegates from the organization said that power generation efficiency will improve to 31.6 percent by adopting the new technology; and it will play an important role in reducing air pollution caused by traditional garbage incineration methods.

High temperature steam produced by garbage incinerators will be transferred to large-scale coal-fired power generators, which have much higher power generation efficiency.

Meanwhile, the smoke generated by garbage incinerators will be cleaned through the gas purification equipment installed in coal-fired power generators, cutting the cost of installing extra purification equipment for garbage incinerators.
