The BCM (Beicangmen) Life Arts Center is a typical industrial renovation site along the Qingming Bridge Section of the Grand Canal. Beicangmen used to be the largest silk storehouse in the south of the Yangtze River in the 1930s with the advantages of the Grand Canal.

Now Beicangmen is a famous cultural and creative industrial park in Wuxi, home to modern art studios including sculpture, art and music. An 80,000-square-meter art park is under construction to add modern value to the Grand Canal.
