Baotou Jinshan Industrial Park

Baotou Jinshan Industrial Park (包头金山工业园) is located at Jinshan town, Guyang County. It was established in May 2009. Covering a total planning area of 80 square kilometers, it is an autonomous regional industrial park, a recycling economy demonstration park and a park that is aprt of the Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Park.

The industrial park engages in production and processing of ferrous and nonferrous metal, new energy equipment manufacturing, non-metallic materials processing and manufacturing and comprehensive utilization of solid waste. 

The park has attracted the settlement of 32 key projects, including East Hope Group, Baogang pelletizing, the TBEA and the Clenergy Group. The total investment has amounted to 21 billion yuan ($3.18), and the annual output value is expected to reach 26 billion yuan. The park will employ approximately 20,000 employees. 

What’s more, the park worked jointly with the Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology on the national level engineering research center of Comprehensive utilization of mining and metallurgy waste resources, aiming to develop it into the park’s key industrial development incubator.
