Main venue perfect for Fortune Forum

The 2017 Fortune Global Forum got underway in Guangzhou on Dec 6, with a wide range of activities set to be held at the Shangri-La Hotel – the main venue of the event.

The hotel, on Pazhou Island, the central part of Guangzhou's CBD, is surrounded by a 12-acre (4.86 hectares) garden and offers guests a perfect view of both downtown Guangzhou and the Pearl River.

Located next to the hotel is the China Import and Export Fair Complex. To the west of the main venue lies the Pazhou Internet Innovation Cluster which is home to the headquarters of internet giants such as Tencent and Vip.com. On the opposite side of the Pearl River lies the Guangzhou International Finance City and Zhujiang New Town.

The venue has over 850 seats with 700 for guests and 150 for reporters. The venue's distinctive decorations will offer attendees a chance to learn more about Lingnan culture.
