The launch of such equipment prior to the 2017 Fortune Global Forum is not only Guangzhou's innovative move to build smart airport and enrich passengers travelling experience, but showcases inbound visitors the best image of the airport and even China's civil aviation industry, according to a spokesperson of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has been working hard to promote smart airport construction over the past year. A lot of cutting-edge technologies have been introduced including "QR code pass", special X-ray check machine and facial recognition system and the airport vowed to explore more of such technologies to provide passengers safer, more efficient and comfortable travelling experience.
