Established in April 2006, the Wuxi Taihu New City Science and Education Industrial Park (K-PARK) earned the approval of the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and Wuxi Municipal Government. K-PARK is a hi-tech industrial incubator specializing in software and service outsourcing, television animation, micro-nano sensors, creative design, network economy, advanced research and development and educational training.

K-PARK brings together Jiangnan University, the School of Software and Microelectronics in Wuxi, Peking University, Wuxi Institute of Technology, Jiangnan Institute of Computing Technology, and China Ship Scientific 702 Research Center, as well as other colleges and institutes.
