World Internet of Things Exposition

The World Internet of Things (IoT) Exposition has been held in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, in September or October, since 2016. The expo is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC and Jiangsu provincial government.

The World Internet of Things Exposition is the first State-level and largest exposition for the industry of IoT in China. It aims to exhibit the latest achievements in IoT-themed products and technologies such as intelligent manufacturing, intelligent transportation and intelligent healthcare.

Wuxi International Marathon

Wuxi International Marathon is the only full-length marathon held in Jiangsu province. It has been held every year in March or April since 2014. The event is sponsored by the Chinese Athletic Association, Jiangsu Sports Bureau and Wuxi municipal government.

In 2015, Wuxi came in fourth on the list of China's top marathon destinations, according to Wuxi international marathon organizing committee. The list was compiled by Runner's magazine and based on opinions of many runners and judges. In 2016, the Wuxi International Marathon won the Gold Label Road Race at the Marathon Gala-China 2015 event on Jan 9 in Guangzhou, South China’s Guangdong province. In 2017, Wuxi Marathon took the prestigious move of becoming a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).
