Yangzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone

Yangzhou Export Processing Zone (扬州综合保税区) was officially approved as a national-level comprehensive bonded zone on Jan 31, 2016. The zone is located in the national-level Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, only 1 kilometer from the port of Yangzhou.

It covers a planned area of 3 square kilometers. The first phase covers 1.47 sq km, with the standard factory buildings constructed covering 178,000 square meters, staff apartments covering 14,000 square meters, storage area reaching 2,100 square meters, and nearly 10,000 square meters of underutilized industrial space was renovated into storage area.

Based on various functional advantages, the zone mainly focuses on export processing enterprises in electric information, mechanical and electrical equipment, auto parts, energy saving and environmental protection, semiconductor lighting and high-end light industry. 

It is also developing emerging industries such as bonded logistics, international transit and cross-border e-commerce. 

The zone has built up its reputation in supply chain management and property management, and has won people's hearts for its "imported commodity outlet center". It was even awarded a provincial qualification title as a cross-border e-commerce industrial park in September, 2016.
