Shenyang Aircraft Corporation

Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC, 沈阳飞机工业集团有限公司) is an aircraft manufacturer focusing on aviation manufacturing and the integration of scientific research, production, testing, and trial flights. Established on June 29, 1951, the company is a subsidiary of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), and one its backbone enterprises. 

Covering 8 million square meters, SAC is one of the birthplaces of the Chinese aviation industry, and is known as the cradle of Chinese fighter planes.

Through extensive cooperation with several internationally renowned aviation enterprises, SAC brought about the industrial development of civil aircraft in China.

SAC is a supplier of emergency hatches, wing ribs, slippery course ribs, and leading edge parts for the Airbus A320, and is also a supplier of the vertical tail leading edge used on the Boeing 787.

SAC's technical and manufacturing strength, along with its domestic advanced aircraft assembly level, aircraft testing techniques and a complete aviation products manufacturing line make for a powerful force in the aircraft industry.

Additionally, SAC runs various advanced research and development projects and manufactures technology for civil products like aviation technology applications and equipment manufacturing, construction and decoration.
