Engebei is a national agriculture tourism demonstration area in the Dalad Banner. "Engebei" means "safe and lucky" in Mongolian. 

There are a variety of tourist attractions in the area such as desert oasis sightseeing, water entertainments and desert eco-agriculture. 

With five functional sections and over 20 tourist activities, it is a world-level resort integrating desert travel, recreation and scientific research. 

Located in the Ejin Horo Banner, the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan is a place to offer respects to the great man’s spirit. It is also a historical cultural tourist attraction integrating rituals and sightseeing. It includes the Main Palace, murals and the Mongolian History and Culture Museum.

Construction of the comprehensive Ordos Museum, located in Kangbashi New Area, began in 2006. Now completed, the museum covers 27,760 sqm and has a building area of 41,220 sqm.

There are seven professional exhibition halls of a total 8,500 sqm, an academic lecture hall with capacity for 260 people, more than 70 offices, conference rooms, two VIP reception rooms, and a number of auxiliary facilities such as restaurants and underground parking lots.

The appearance of Ordos Museum is quite unique; it looks like a weather-worn stone which has been through years of wind and storms. The museum symbolizes the long history and profound cultural heritage of Ordos.

Located in the middle of the Dalad Banner and the easternmost part of the Kubuqi Desert, the Resonant Sand Gorge is a tourist attraction highlighting desert landscapes.

The sand gorge in this scenic spot is in the shape of a crescent moon and echoes the whispering dunes. 

Tourists can enjoy themselves at the attraction with various activities such as horse-riding, sand skiing and desert gliding, each offering a unique experience.
