Costing 50 million yuan ($7.5 million), the 468-mu (31.2 hectares) agriculture demonstration park will become a research & development base for new crop species and technologies. It will also display high-end Israeli agricultural equipment that can control temperature, light, water, fertilizer, and gas simultaneously.

Beyond that, the demonstration park will mark off different zones for vegetable and fruit planting, production, processing, sightseeing and entertainment to integrate modern agricultural technology promotion with rural tourism and catering, and to attract urban consumers.

Sonic Agriculture Hi-Tech is a large-scale Israeli enterprise focusing on vegetable breeding and production. It not only has more than 80 varieties of pedigreed vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, but is advanced in water-saving irrigation and highly-efficient and soil-less cultivation.
