Shekou Net Valley

Nanshan district is the high-tech industrial base in Shenzhen, and the city's most concentrated and active area of technological and innovative resources. Co-founded by the Nanshan district government and the China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone, the Shekou Net Valley(蛇口网谷) is an internet and e-commerce industrial base integrated with high technology and cultural industry.

Shekou Net Valley lies between Nanshan and Nanhai avenues, covering an area of 200,000 sq m. Its building area will be over 420,000 sq m after completion.

The valley's industrial development goal is to improve its core competitiveness and quality, achieving innovation-driven growth and focusing on the breakthrough of key technologies to occupy key links of the industrial chain.

It focuses on the three key fields of mobile internet, e-commerce and the Internet of Things. By the end of 2015, Shekou Net Valley had attracted more than 400 enterprises generating total output value of over 20 billion yuan ($3.03 billion), with an average annual output value of 50,000 yuan per sq m.
