The International Mongolian Bokh Championship Belt Game opened on Nov 18 in Ordos, a city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, with the participation of 256 wrestlers.

The top-level bokh championship in China attracted wrestlers from Mongolia, Tajikistan, Russia, France, Brazil, Australia, America, Canada and host China.

Bokh, known as Mongolian-style wrestling, is one of the "Triple Skills" supposed to be mastered by every Mongolian man. The word "bokh" means strong, united and sustained.

Bokh is different from any other kinds of wrestling. All the matches are open classes, without limits of age, gender and duration. Any part of the body, other than the feet, touches the grassland, meaning the defeat and elimination from the game.
