Piano Concerto No 2 in F was played by the Berlin Philharmonic and famous Chinese pianist Wang Yujia.

It is exciting to be in Guangzhou for the first time and to cooperate with Chinese pianist Wang Jiayu, said Simon Rattle, principal conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic.

The Berlin Philharmonic is an orchestra based in Berlin, Germany, which has been consistently ranked as one of the best orchestras in the world since the 19th century.

During the week, apart from enjoying the concert by the German orchestra, music lovers in Guangzhou also have the opportunity to attend concerts performed by German operatic tenor Jonas Kaufmann and German soprano opera singer Diana Damrau.
