Yantai holds seminar on long-term care

The two-day event featured forums, speeches, paper discussion sessions, and gathered more than 400 experts, scholars and employees in the long-term care sector from Shanghai, Taiwan, and Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions.

Zhang Bo, deputy mayor of Yantai, attended the seminar and delivered a speech. Zhang introduced the city's efforts in promoting the development of elderly care industries. The city has established a rudimentary home-based elderly care system. Zhang said Yantai is also striving to build itself into a national demonstration city in terms of elderly care services.
