World Ocean Week about to weigh anchor in Xiamen

The annual World Ocean Week in Xiamen, Fujian province, began on Nov 2.
The weeklong event will highlight global governance of the marine environment and serve as a platform for achieving sustainable development of the marine economy by bringing together representatives of national agencies, experts in marine science and technology, members of international and intergovernmental organizations and relevant marine industries, enterprises and institutions to discuss the latest developments in the marine economy.
