Baotou marks launch of Chengdu flights

Baotou marked the launch of a new route on Oct 29, with a flight from Chengdu, Sichuan province to Changchun, Jilin province, making a stop in Baotou city, reports Baotou Daily.

The new direct flight, operated by Chengdu Airlines using an Airbus A319, is scheduled to fly once a day.

The Chengdu-Changchun flight will depart Chengdu at 06:55, stopping in Baotou at 09:15, and taking off again at 10:05. It is scheduled to land in Changchun at 12:15. The return flight will leave Changchun at 13:10, stopping in Baotou at 15:35, before arriving in Chengdu at 18:55.

Baotou, the largest city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, aims to boost ties with cities inside and outside the region by launching new air services including direct flights to Urad Middle Banner, Shanghai and Xi’an in Shaanxi province.
