Cultural activity lights up community life

On Oct 16, a Chinese calligraphy and painting exhibition was held by the workstation of Shiling community, Lotus Street in Futian district, attracting dozens of old Party members from the community to enjoy the traditional Chinese paintings.

The scene of the event was covered with paintings and calligraphy; it is worth mentioning that many of them were painted by the community’s residents. The scene also attracted citizen representatives who wrote inscriptions for the event.

In addition, some elderly Party members from the neighborhood took the opportunity to get together and renew their good old days.

In recent years, and especially in the first half of this year, Shiling community workstation's cultural construction has obtained some good results through the support and participation of the community residents.

Special cultural activities, such as calligraphy and painting exhibitions, manual classes and concerts, are often held in the community, which greatly enriches the residents’cultural life.
