Overseas Henan natives come back to boost local economy

From Oct 10 to 11, 60 overseas Henan natives came to Nanyang, offering practical suggestions to help local enterprises go global.

The first stop of the delegation was Xixia Intake and Exhaust Manifold Co Ltd. Although located in a remote corner of the city, the company takes up the lion's share of exhaust pipes in the domestic market. Its products are supplied to more than one hundred automobile brands from home and abroad.

While complimenting Chen Wuchao, the company's founder, for obtaining such achievements, delegation members also advised Xixia Intake and Exhaust Manifold to consider transformation and upgrading in the new era.

"As the country encourages the use of electric cars and new-energy vehicles, traditional vehicles are faced with innovation and upgrading. If the company invests more into research and development, it will lead the industry and get financial support from the government," said one of the delegation members.

Wanxi Pharmaceutical Co, the largest company among the top 500 Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises, also received the delegation and showed it the manufacturing and processing of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

Zhao Hao, chairman of the Henan Chamber of Commerce in Hungary, bagging an array of local TCM products and mushroom sauces home, said that this is not only a support to the local enterprises, but also a gift brought back to the families far from the hometown.

Hosted by All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the event will also arrange a tour in Pingdingshan and Ruzhou for the delegation to experience the profound culture and vigorous development of Henan.
