The AI-assisted medical center will use a medical treatment services platform based on advanced technologies in speech recognition, AI and big data processing.

iFlytek will also assist GPHL in its smart marketing projects and smart customer service platforms.

"The core of supply-side reform for GPHL lies in innovation-driven development and the cross-field cooperation between GPHL and iFlytek is a great case for exercising the strategy of innovation-driven development," Li said.

Guangzhou is pressing ahead with its IAB initiative, focusing on industries of next generation of information technology, AI and biological medicine. The project involves the collaboration of companies from AI and biological medicine fields, and aims to improve the core competitiveness of the two parties and boost the city's IAB industries.
