Innovation and entrepreneurship week opens in Baotou

A launching ceremony was held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, announcing the opening of an innovation and entrepreneurship week in the autonomous region, on Sept 15, reports Baotou Daily.

The innovation and entrepreneurship week is an annual event held under the approval of the State Council. It is meant to spur innovation and stimulate the local economy. 

This year’s event will run from Sept 15 to 21. Activities include exhibitions of achievements, makers' forums, and competitions that will be staged throughout the week.
