Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra is a Russian classical music orchestra established in 1930. It was founded as the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra was renamed in 1993 by the Russian Ministry of Culture in recognition of the central role Tchaikovsky's music plays in its repertoire.

According to a cooperation plan signed in July 2016 by China's Ministry of Culture and the Russian Ministry of Culture, a wide range of cultural festivals and art activities will be held to promote the cultural exchange and talents communication between the two countries. The Russian Culture Festival is exactly an event to implement the cooperation plan.
