Traditional first writing ceremony held in Baotou

Children attend a traditional first writing ceremony in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Aug 26. The first writing ceremony, also called a "kaibi ceremony", was one of the most important events for students in ancient China, attended by students at the beginning of school sessions.
