Wuxi promotes film and TV industries

During the meeting, Wuxi municipal government signed a deal with China's State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and Jiangsu News and Publishing Bureau to establish a "China film town" in Wuxi to promote the development of the city's film industry.

According to Li Lu, director of The Monkey King 2, Wuxi Studios has already developed into a mature film production base housing more than 500 companies, so the "China film town" is sure to be a success.

It is hoped that the new film town will help Wuxi become one of the centers for the Chinese film industry over the next few years.
