Baotou rare earth forum opens

The ninth China Baotou Rare Earth Industry Forum opens in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Aug 28. The forum, themed around rare earth new materials and innovation, witnessed the signing of 24 projects worth some 15 billion yuan ($2.27 billion). The projects mainly concern deep earth-processing products such as rare earth permanent magnets, luminescence, hydrogen storage and catalysis. [Photo/baotounews.com.cn]
