Tourism expo to open in Baotou

More than 1,300 exhibitors are expected to attend a tourism expo due to open in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Sept 1, according to nmgnews.com.cn.

Co-hosted by the people’s government of Baotou, and the Tourism Development Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the expo will highlight folk tourism products and will cover an area of 36,000 square meters.

The expo will run until Sept 4.

Five indoor themed exhibition halls and one outdoor themed exhibition zone will be set up at the expo, including one themed around Inner Mongolia and one with a Baotou theme.
