Intl photography festival begins in Sanmenxia

The deadline for the 2017 China (Sanmenxia) White Swan Wildlife Photo Competition is set for Aug 30. The festival requires candidate works to display the natural beauty of Sanmenxia's wildlife along the Yellow River, especially swans.

Dubbed as the "city of swans", Sanmenxia is famous for its lush environment and cozy climate, which attracts a huge number of swans from Siberia every winter. Each year, thousands of visitors flock to the city to appreciate the wild fowl.

The photography festival is looking for works from all around the world. Every contestant should send their works by the internet according to specific format requirement.

Organized by the China Photographers Association, Henan Photographers Association and Sanmenxia Photographers association, the festival will post the awarded works on the peoplephoto.com.

Contestants should send the works to [http://www.pop-photo.com.cn/forum_622_1.html] or [www.peoplephoto.com]. The festival will select 120 works and each of them will be rewarded 800 yuan ($122.12).
