Rare earth industry forum set to open on Aug 28

The ninth China Baotou Rare Earth Industry Forum will open in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 28, aimed at plotting the path for future development of the rare earth industry, reports Baotou Daily.

The forum will be themed around rare earths, new materials and innovation.

The opening ceremony will include speeches and project signing ceremonies.

Initiated in 2009, China Baotou Rare Earth Industry Forum has been held for eight consecutive years. The quadrennial forum has grown to be one of the largest events in China aimed at promoting global cooperation and exchanges in related trade, manufacturing, research and applications.
