Turnover hits 9b yuan at organic food expo

Turnover reached 8.92 billion yuan ($1.34 billion) during the four-day organic food expo taking place in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to baotounews.com.cn.

Also, the expo witnessed the signing of 667 trade and technology investment projects.

The expo, covering an area of 50,000 square meters, attracted the participation of 1,683 domestic and foreign businesses, among which 693 businesses were national and provincial-level leading businesses.

A total of 8,012 products were on display during the expo, including specialties from countries like Russia, France and Malaysia.
