Nanyang and Chinese multinational IT company Inspur inked a strategic cooperation framework agreement on Aug 17, focusing on the deployment of Internet Plus and big data.

As a domestically leading service provider of cloud computing and big data, Inspur has four listed subsidiaries, providing IT products and services in more than 100 countries and regions around the world.

On March 9, the company signed a 1-billion-yuan ($149.9 million) cooperation agreement with Wancheng district to develop Internet Plus and big data in the region.

Nanyang government is attaching great importance to the cooperation with Inspur, said Vice Mayor Zhu Haijun. He urged district officials to draw up implementation plans and speed up the construction of the project.

According to Wang Fang, vice president of Inspur, the company will step up efforts to develop the Internet Plus and big data industries in Nanyang, providing strong support for local economic development.
