World choral music rocks Hohhot

A dozen international choruses performed a spectacular vocal gala at Wulanqiate Theater in Hohhot on Aug 16, presenting the local audience with a variety of world music and culture.

The musical event was organized by International Federation for Choral Music, Inner Mongolia Publicity Department, Inner Mongolia Culture Department and Ethnic Arts Theater of Inner Mongolia.

Organizers invited choruses from the United States, Mexico, Portugal, Hungary, Morocco, Russia, and Mongolia. This is first time an international-level vocal festival has been held in Inner Mongolia, acting as a bridge to connect relationships with foreign countries in the sector of arts. This is also an opportunity for Inner Mongolia to promote their grassland nomadic culture.
