Sanmenxia organizes study tour for Chinese culture education

A one-month study tour to inculcate the essence of traditional Chinese culture among teenagers began in Sanmenxia, Henan province on Aug 13.

It is under the theme "Dancing in the Swan City and Studying Tao Te Ching", and being held in the Hangu Pass historical culture district.

The tour is sponsored by Sanmenxia Tourism Bureau, Lingbao Municipal Government, and Beijing Child Star Study Tour Association, and organized by Lingbao Tourism Bureau and Beijing Child Star International Media Center.

Sanmenxia is one of the origins of the Yellow River Culture and the birthplace of Tao Te Ching, which offer solid foundation for the cultural tour. About a thousand children performed Latin dancing simultaneously on the event, and the high art attracted many tourists.

Yang Jichao, vice president of Chinese Red Tourism Development Commission, and the president of Beijing Child Star Study Tour Association and International Media Center, chose Hangu Pass historical culture district as the destination base for the study tour.

A series of activities scheduled for the tour include Chinese classics culture experience in the journey to Hangu Pass, parent and children water reality show, and the Yellow River culture study tour.
