Heavy increases for Hechi's non-ferrous metal industry

Hechi's non-ferrous metal industry is booming, achieving 46.92 percent growth in the first half of the year, reporting a production value of 5.94 billion yuan ($891.39 million).

The non-ferrous metal industry is among resource-rich Hechi's top five, with an annual production value of more than 10 billion yuan, the others being electricity, cocoon silk, calcium and water.

The city in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region plans to further boost industrial output by extending the industry chain and optimizing the industrial structure in these fields.
