Sanmenxia strengthens industry integration

Sanmenxia, a resource rich city in Henan province, has been making efforts to strengthen its industry integration and upgrading.

According to statistics from Sanmenxia Municipal Statistics Bureau, in the first half of this year, 295 scaled enterprises in the city have realized a total industrial added value of 15.64 billion yuan ($2.32 billion), a year-on-year increase of 49.4 percent.

As of June, Sanmenxia has a planned industrial integration area of 120.82 square kilometers with 58.82 square kilometers already constructed. The city will continue to improve its supporting facilities including road networks, green areas and natural gas supply.

There are currently 173,000 people working in the industrial integration cluster in Sanmenxia. With an increasing number of enterprises in the city’s industrial integration cluster, more job opportunities are expected to be created.
